After staring at the cabinet that came with the house for far too long, I finally got around to replacing it. My goals were to add some storage space, shelves for display, and make it easier to access the water main while hiding it behind something beautiful.

It took two months but I'm thrilled with the results. I love an in-depth project that requires a wide variety of techniques. From dovetails, to proper milling and resawing, drawer fitting, veneering, and finishing...this project has it all. In addition, a wide range of power tools and hand tools are used throughout the project, making the build that much more fun.

Playing darts is one of favorite pastimes, so building a cabinet that has features geared just for it, was especially rewarding.
