The Dalai Lama had a successful knee replacement Friday at a top New York hospital and will be discharged tomorrow.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama's personal physician, Dr. Tsetan Sadutshang:
“After the surgery, he returned to his room in the hospital in a very stable condition and has already had his lunch. He will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow. The entire team looking after His Holiness has been extremely supportive and caring.”
The Dalai Lama arrived in New York on June 23rd for knee surgery. Tibetans and supporters around the world are praying for His Holiness the Dalai Lama's health.
