I solved the problem of putting in a complex spring loaded chain tensioner by using a simple Roll Ring device. The best thing is it works bi-directional where as a spring loaded tensioner will not. So it works in Reverse as well as it does in Forward. Its also very easy to install and does not fall out. Extends chain life too! link to company:
