Took the 3 hour, 140 mile ride to Deshler, Ohio on Wednesday with ‪@AdventureswithJoeyBoats‬ in the hopes of getting lots of action and catching the B&O CPL signals in use before they are taken down forever very soon.
We got around 25 trains in 8 hours! Here is 5 of the first few we got. You got the Baltimore and Ohi heritage locomotive right off the bat, a quick video of the CPLs, (more to come later) Then we get a Northbound autorack train that takes the connecting track to head West and while it`s going around the curve, we get an Eastbound intermodal banging the diamonds!
After they pass, we get an Eastbound ethanol train that takes the South connecting track and heads towards Cincinnati, Ohio.
Finally for this video we get an eastbound mixed manifest with some fallen flag cars in the consist.
This location is 150 miles North of Glendale. The single track that crosses the double track main at the diamonds is the CSX Toledo Sub that film in Glendale, Hamilton and Carlisle, Ohio.
The East / West line is the Chicago line that runs through Greenwich and Fostoria, Ohio.
I have tons more t post from this trip. This is just the tip of the iceberg, so make sure you are here to see the rest in the coming days!
Thanks for watching!
