Maybe it’s raining somewhere else in the world 😅 this video is from last week when we had rainy weather for the entire week. Today, it’s so scorching hot that it feels like we are in an open oven 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Who else loves this old song of Nepathya’s 🥹🥹 This is one of the first songs that comes to my mind when it’s rainy weather 🥰🥰 The audio isn’t available here - maybe because it was sung by an old band member by the name of Rabin Shrestha?

Momo Mixture:

900grams minced pork/chicken
2 large brown onion
1 large chayote/iskus
1 bunch of chives
juice from pounded ginger about the size of my palm
2 tsp salt
3 tsp kikkoman soy sauce or light soy sauce

Pork Bone Soup:

about 900grams pork bone with meat washed and boiled till it comes to a boil. Discard the water and rinse the meat for 2-3 times and re-boil with fresh water while you prep the momo mixture and wrap up the dumplings.
I added radish, carrots and celery and seasoned simply with salt and garnished fresh coriander

Tomato Chutney:

2 handful of cherry tomatoes
1 large regular tomato
1/4 large onion
3-4 cloves garlic
5 red chillies
avocado oil or any oil you use to cook
1 tsp salt

Cook the above ingredients in a pan covered on low fire 🔥 till the tomatoes wilt. Stir occasionally and allow it to cool before blending with

juice of 3/4 lemon 🍋
a few sprigs of coriander
1/4 tsp timur/szechuan pepper (optional - we didn’t add this time)
