This reboot was created as a tribute to Dave Drew who passed away in 1975.
Dave was an amazing musician that was actually blind however he played flawlessly as he possessed more than the five senses.
Dave also had a delightful cat by the name of Tom Ting. This composition was a result of Tom Ting's antics.

Historical Perspective

Dave Drew was a blind musician known for his skill on the bass and flute. He was active in the Kitchener-Waterloo jazz scene before relocating to Winnipeg. Drew was highly regarded for his contributions to local jazz, performing with numerous musicians in the area. He collaborated with artists such as Fred Boegli, Al Scott, and others in various jazz ensembles, playing both locally and in other regions. He passed away in 1975, leaving a legacy in the Canadian jazz community, particularly in the Kitchener-Waterloo and Winnipeg areas .

Despite being blind, his musical abilities were remarkable, and he continued to perform and inspire many musicians. His involvement in the local jazz community is still remembered, especially in Kitchener-Waterloo, where he was part of several jazz groups.
