Hey!

Ready fro some different content? After Christmas and New Years Eve, me and my family went on another great adventure, this time to the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, for some sightseeing and street photography, of course!

It was a 4 day trip and we went to visit a great selection of touristic places, always keeping in mind that we had a 6 years old kid with us. We tried to make a kid friendly itinerary, but sometimes, not every thing goes has planned, lucky for us, in the end, all came together!

Day 1
We didn't notice that Eco Park was closed on Fridays, only when we arrived at the front gate...we changed our plans from day 2 to day 1 and vice versa, all was good!
Passing through KLCC, Afonso enjoyed playing in the pool at the foot of the Petronas Towers, then we went to Wisma Cosway for lunch with the locals and next was Pavilion for some shopping and a coffee at the DÔME (how chic)! We noticed a cluster of “fans” waiting for a famous singer, who would appear only 4 hours later.
At night, we went out to dinner, at LaLaport, right next to our Hotel.

Day 2
As on the first day we were blocked from entering KL Eco Park, because it was Friday, on Saturday no one was going to stop us!
So it was, straight to Menara Kuala Lumpur. We chose not to climb the Tower and went straight to our first destination, KL Eco Park, where we did almost every trail possible, including the Canopy Walk, which are the suspension bridges!
After Afonso found the Portuguese flag at the World Peace Gong, we went to Petaling Street Market (Chinatown), had lunch in one of many incredible Foodcourts and, after lunch, we strolled through the Central Market!
The night was spent near “our” residence, next to LaLaport, in Bukit Bintang!

Day 3
The plan for this day was to visit the Batu Caves, the biggest challenge for the little one, as there are 272 steps to get to the top (and then to come back down)!
Ii was raining all day long, but it did not ruin the experience, it is an amazing place, with lots of culture and religion surrounding it. After visiting almost all the Caves, we had lunch in the local Mamak, such great food, but all spicy, which was very difficult for Afonso.
This was an intense experience, so we went back to our Hotel, passed through Lalaport and made two messages in wooden boards for the celebration of the Japanese New Year. Afonso took some pictures with the Japanese girls all dressed up in traditional kimonos.
We went to dinner in a Street food market, near KLCC Garden, so we could go see the Lake Symphony Light and Sound show, it was incredible and it happens everyday!

Day 4
This was our last day, we went to Petaling Street Market one more time, to get some souvenirs and just enjoy that place full of life!
Still we had time for one last dive in infinity pool, on the 35th floor and went for dinner in Jalan Alor, one more time!
