If you already know some English grammar and want to polish your skills, here’s the perfect piece of grammar that a lot of English learners are afraid of. Reduced relative clauses seem very scary unless you know the simple rules that I explain in this video.

I will tell you when to omit conjunctions who, which, and that. Also, I will tell you when you may omit the auxiliary verbs in these complex sentences and how you should change the verb in such cases.

Can you always omit conjunctions who, which, and that? Can you use the same form of the verb in the reduced clause? Should you leave the auxiliary verb and how can people understand what tense you are using in the reduced clause? I will answer everything in this short video.

I’m an ESL English teacher and I look at English grammar the way ESL learners see it. That’s why my explanations may be useful for learners from all around the world. Want to watch more of such short lessons? Just subscribe to the channel!
