Bald Faced Hornets Nests removed, one from a bush and another from a 15 foot branch on a horse farm! The nest in the bush, I vacuumed up adults and was able to retrieve 99% of the foragers. Once the majority of the nest was vacant and sucked up, I bagged the nest and prepared it for a long ride home.
The other nest was 15ft high and was not possible for me to use my vacuum method; it just wouldn't reach. So, I used my snipper pole to drop the nest directly into a Rubbermaid bin for a noisey buzzing transport home!
Once home, I dissected an earlier removal nest that I had chilling in my refrigerator to slow down the workers inside. I suspected bug infestation inside the nest, and I was right. The nest had been terrorized by earwigs! they had killed many forming adults and the nest was a chewed up mess.

And of course, I finish off the video feeding my 3 girls, Ginger, Pigeon, and Angel by giving them their treat of yellow jacket larvae in the nest!
