Last year, I was dragged on a trip to Thailand and Malaysia with my family and their friends. I didn't know most of them and wasn't close to any of their children, so I thought I would spend most of my vacation holed up in my hotel room. It wasn't until they allowed me to go out on my own when I realized how beautiful the city could be; especially in the golden hour.
