The first time I saw this Wal Mk 1 electric bass from 1984 (arguably the most iconic English bass ever made) I felt an instant connection to it.
There are many variations of these incredible basses around, but what makes this one extra special is that it was played by Duran Duran's bass player, John Taylor, in the music video of Feed the World: 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' by Band Aid, which is my favourite Christmas song!
