I found this lathe out in the desert. It had been stored in an open-sided barn. So essentially covered but with one wall being open to the elements. That gave it exposure to 40-60mph winds at times. Being in the desert that means sand, sand and yes more sand.

The Jet bd-920N is made in the Sieg factory in china. Along with all of the Harbor Freight, Central Machinery, Grizzly, Optimum, Warco, Enco... and so many others... They're decent machines but need some working in to get them going well.

While this lathe was in over all good shape it needed to be taken apart, cleaned and lubricated. I had it back and going again in few days. A buyer picked it up a few days later. :)
