With the success of songs like “Who I Smoke” by Yungeen Ace, labels and media companies are starting to lean into the genre. Beefs are starting to be seen as an artist stimulus package and a way to gain quick followers and exposure for artists. With this being seen by market executives, they are manufacturing beefs in order to boost the careers and numbers of their talent. Very interesting.
