Today is the penultimate day in Latvia I must say that it was very unusual ... Let's say that more than an unusual experience it was a nightmare experience ... I left with the sun and a glimmer of heat heading towards Saulkrasti a beautiful village ( suggested to me by an Instagram follower ) north-west of Riga, on the Baltic Sea.
A very quaint village I was told ( and in part it is ) ... where the real Latvians go to spend their weekends or their holidays ... once arriving the weather quickly turned from a sunny day with mild temperatures to a windy, cold day with several downpours (we call them water bombs) ... so much so that I returned to the hotel earlier than expected

After exploring the length and breadth of the village of Saulkrasti and the neighbouring Pabaži (I must admit that the Baltic Sea is beautiful and the two villages are absolutely worth seeing ... in summer 🤣 ) ...

I decided to go back to Riga because I was not prepared for all that wind and cold ... so I went to the station of Pabaži and discovered that Pasažieru Vilciens ( today he is called Vivi ) ... cancelled the train that would have taken me back to Riga ...
as you can see from the videos there is not much chance to shelter from the wind and cold around the station ( the block of flats next to the station is closed, it only opens in the summer so a girl who was waiting for the train with me told me) ... so I had to wait for the train in the cold and wind ... anyway for today ( the day of the journey ) there should have been another train in service instead surprise! .... Another Er2t! 😡 ... In short, it was a beautiful nightmare experience! 😱
