Since about this time last year, my green NOS 3M M-131 has been out of service due to a failing dimmer circuit. As replacement parts from 3M are unobtanium, you're faced with either repair or replacement using a used part. As I'd like to keep this signal as original as possible, I elected to try to repair it at first but as you'll see, that didn't go quite according to plan.
