The Path of the Gods on the Almafi Coast in Italy is said to be one of the most beautiful hikes in the country...Then I found dozens of tour groups and hundreds of people at the trailhead for what would be the most crowded hike I've ever seen.

Italy was light on adventure compared to countries I typically explore, but hiking The Path of the Gods was still well worth it. I spent a day in the town of Sorrento before hiking the Path of the Gods from the town of Bomerano to the coastal village of Positano.
