More than 10 million people in Yemen are facing a severe food crisis. Many families have exhausted their ways of coping, and some are marrying off their young daughters in order to ease the burden of the crisis and feed their children. Oxfam is helping people to cope with the crisis by providing cash payments to enable people to buy food for their families, and is continuing to campaign to stop early marriage.
