In this video I show you how to make a SHOU SUGI BAN CANDLE HOLDER made out of scrap from pallet wood. The shou sugi ban technique is a japanese technique that consists into charring the wood. It gives to the wood a natural protection and preserve the wood from deteriorations.

This Shou Sugi Ban candle holder makes a nice piece of decoration. It is really easy to realise and make it at home. You can experiment many different techniques, with or without paint, or with different wood essences.

I hope you will enjoy this video and maybe make your own candle holder. Don't hesitate to share your realisation with me.
