Aston Martin fans have reason to celebrate with the resurgence of the Vanquish nameplate, set to take its place as the flagship model in the brand's grand tourer (GT) lineup. With the departure of the DBS in 2023, the 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish not only marks a significant return to form but also aims to outshine both the DB12 and Vantage in terms of price and performance. U.S. deliveries are scheduled to begin just before the year concludes, with a starting price of $429,000 plus destination fees.

Despite sharing some design cues with the DBS and DB12, the Vanquish is an all-new vehicle from the ground up. Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman's team prioritized an assertive stance, featuring a prominent grille, deep bodyside insets, wide sills, and distinctive multielement taillights. Reichman describes the design as a blend of past, present, and future.

Under the hood, the Vanquish is powered by a newly designed twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V-12 engine. This engine represents a departure from industry trends and is expected to serve as the brand's V-12 flagship until the end of the decade.

With 824 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, the Vanquish boasts significant gains over the previous DBS. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in a claimed 3.2 seconds, reaches 100 mph in 6.2 seconds, and has a top speed of 214 mph.

Initially, the Vanquish will be offered exclusively as a coupe, with the possibility of a Volante (convertible) version in the future. Despite its high price point, Aston Martin expects strong demand for this top-of-the-line GT supercar.
