This time, I would like to introduce a slightly mysterious table mat that becomes a rhombus even though it does not require stitching of rhombuses.
This mat is diamond-shaped, but you don't have to sew a rhombus.
Only rectangles are sewn together. However, the finished product is a rhombus.
No stress.
In addition, this pattern is a mini type of Trip around the world, so if you start with a strip of cloth, it will be completed in no time.
You can make it if you use 4 to 5 kinds of cloth.
Also, although it is the finished size, you can adjust the size by changing the size of each piece or changing the aspect ratio of the rectangle. Increasing the vertical ratio of the piece increases the height, and increasing the horizontal ratio increases the horizontal length. Here, 3.5 CM times 5 CM is the size of one piece, so I used a rectangle with a 7:10 aspect ratio.
The diamond-shaped mat looks a little fashionable. Why don't you make one as an accent for a small table or as a small gift for the coming season?
