A very powerful Post match interview from Cork U-20 manager Keith Ricken after The Rebels beat Kerry by a point in the gritty Munster Final in Park Uí Chaoimh.

But while all the plaudits will go to the young players on the pitch, who held on after going a man down to secure a gritty win, the wider GAA family, and many people who may only have a passing interest in the game, are all talking about the post-match interview given by manager Keith Ricken on TG4. Ricken did nothing to pull the focus away from the players. And there was no triumphalism or chest-beating even after such a dramatic finish. Instead, the Cork youths manager thoughtfully and eloquently set out a philosophy on football, life and the development of young talent and young men.
