I rode a Japanese Shinkansen "Bullet train" from Fukuoka to Tokyo, including passing Mount Fuji on the way. Sitting in a train for hours going at 300 km/h (or 186 mph) for hours at a time never gets old. What is more, the ride the whole way is so smooth you can set an open drink on the window sill at the start, and not a drop will have been spilled by the time it gets to your destination!
I shot this some years ago without explanation so you can get a feeling of the ambience inside.
There's also some video of the guard on the platform at Shin Osaka Station.

I will be making more videos about Japan. If you'd like to support my work, I'd be very happy.

I have been using Backblaze’s unlimited cloud backup to protect all my data — terabytes of it — for a flat monthly or yearly fee, for years. I highly recommend them as a backup solution.
