This is the most sacred place I have. There are just too many memories here, I'll never forget the heartache of laying down my idol...but I also remember a joyful moment when we unveiled his tombstone, I guess time heals all...I've always worked hard to make sure the old man is proud of me, as I take care of my family & continue his legacy. There are moments where it gets really hard, start feeling like I'm coming short or things get a bit overwhelming. Now I celebrate progress, growth and overcoming many challenges/struggles. The scripture on my arm is a prayer I wrote for my father which is the same piece on his tombstone. This interlude is me sharing my story, and expressing emotions I've gone through during all these changes.
