Faster than a wire wrap and more stylish than a jumpring! Jamie invented this technique as a quick and easy alternative to tip-drill wrapping and a perfect way to create an easy bail! Create classy cascades or debut a stunning solo bead with this must-know trick!

This technique was created with tip and front drilled beads in mind, and many of Swarovski’s fancier cuts such as the heart, flower, starfish, margarita, star, and drop work beautifully. Don’t be limited by that, though! The wonderful thing about this technique is that it allows you to see the full face”of the bead, so be inventive with using center drilled beads. Instead of dangling sideways from a wire wrap, you’ll be able to see the bead from the front!

Ball headpins are a reliable classic and perfect for this technique. Try using other types of fancy headpins with dangles or accents for different looks.
