On April 18th, 2024, Seattle conducted yet another sweep under the Ballard Bridge, this was the 2nd sweep in the same exact place this year. Also during this time The City swept one block west on 14th street and several RV's were scattered.

We hear from several neighbors about the options they were given this day, many who were couples and/or had a pet, did not take these options do to the rules of the shelter.

The City of Seattle has persistently conducted 3-4 sweeps per week in King County since the beginning of the year, resulting in the displacement of hundreds of people and costing millions of dollars. Last year that number reached 38 million.
