The UC Riverside and local community gathered at UCR University Theater on Tuesday, April 30 for "The Frontiers of Physics: A Celebration Honoring Nobel Laureate Barry Barish." Dr. Barish was also named a National Medal of Science winner in October 2023.

Dr. Barish talked about the future of physics research at UC Riverside alongside UCR physics faculty members Steve Choi, Jordan Richardson, Peter Carney, Shawn Westerdale, Michaela Lai and Alec Peck.
