Here's a bit of an unpacking of half-diminished chords or m7b5 chords.
They don't get used too often in many types of music but they can be used nicely in loads of different ways so I've tried to share some options.
I think I could have probably talked for another 20 mins on these but felt like it was a good place to stop!
