What started out as an "easy" episode took me on a roller coaster of emotions. Liz and Dave are wonderful people, doing what they can with the hand they've been dealt. They were gracious and kind. I was SO happy and I feel blessed for the opportunity to work on their yard and make it look good again.

To say "Thank You" they gave me 2 gift cards to the Olive Garden - one for my wife and I to enjoy a nice meal, and the other card they want me to give to someone else at the restaurant while we're there.....their opportunity to "pay it forward". It should make you think - what type of people would think to GIVE when they're going through so much themselves? It was really a beautiful sentiment and one I can't wait to do.

You'll also see at the beginning of the video my reference to my friend Joel, who I just today found out he's dying of terminal cancer. He is strong in his faith in Jesus Christ and does not fear death........he anticipates heaven. Can you imagine coming to terms like that? To have so much faith you don't fear death? I hope we ALL will have such assurances.
