It's spring time in the mountains of Pennsylvania, which means the leeks are up and the morels are too. I find some leeks (aka ramps) and some half free morel mushrooms. I also find some trout lily flowers to make tea. I still have some backstrap from the deer I harvested in the fall that I've been saving for this moment where I cook them all together and make one of my favorite meals
