Kadalekai Parishe :
Kadalekai parishe is groundnut festival held at heart of Bengaluru near Basavanagudi. It is offering of first crop to Dodda basava whose temple is at top of bugle rock. Farmers from various districts of Karnataka comes down to the festival to offer the first groundnut crop followed by fair which is spread across close to a kilometer.

Kadalekai parishe is historical festival which is celebrated from year 1537 till now on last Monday of Karthika maasa.

During Kadalekai Parishe, visitors buy groundnuts from farmers and special pooja and prayers are held at the bull temple
