In this video Mukesh Mohan Gupta has explained a scheme namely "Prime Minister Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises" which is called as PMFME.

Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), in partnership with the States, has launched an all India centrally sponsored "PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme (PMFME Scheme)" for providing financial, technical, and business support for upgradation of existing micro food processing enterprises.

Objectives of the Scheme are to:
1. To support for capital investment for upgradation and formalisation of micro enterprises
2. To imparting technical knowledge through skill training on food safety,
standards & hygiene, and quality improvement.
3. Handholding support for the preparation of DPR, availing bank loan.

This scheme is to enhance the competitiveness of existing individual
micro-enterprises in un-organised segment and to Promote formalisation of the sector under "One District One Product". It is a step towards “Vocal For Local”.

States need to identify one product per district based on potential and strength of district and national priorities.

A cluster for that product will be developed in the district and market linkage will be provided for that.

The objective of the ODOP is to optimise production, productivity and income, preservation and development of the local craft, promotion of art, improvement in product quality and skill development.

ODOP is basically a Japanese business development concept, which gained prominence in 1979. It is aimed at promoting a competitive and staple product from specific area to push sales and improve he standard of living of the local population.
