We travelled to Vancouver from Heathrow on the 2pm flight which meant we landed at about 7pm their time. We actually went to Sun Peaks first otherwise it might be worth looking at flying into Calgary instead but watch the roads look up drive BC as i believe that drive can be quite sketchy!

Its a shlep by the time we got luggage and hire car to drive to Rev, our skis were delayed coming off, that was all manageable as 2 pals, but as a family I might have chosen a layover in vancouver and an early drive up to resort - personal choice.

We went 2nd February 2024, snow conditions weren't the usual but whilst locals weren't happy, we were, it snowed a bit while we were there and condition were better than most places I've seen in europe.

The drive up on the main highway is simple, it is dark i.e. no road lighting and plenty of big lorries on that Trans Canada highway. There are places to stop on the way but do keep an eye on fuel levels.

Rev is nice and as per the video staying at the base means convenient and simple but less food choices.

I didn't experience any off piste while there as snow conditions didn't really permit but Rev is def known for it...

The food places were great as per the video esp the breakfasts at La Baguette.
