My name is “Wingit” and I am attempting an Appalachian Trail 2024 Thru Hike - without much of a plan, in fact, I am Winging it along the way. Here is another day I am grateful to share with everyone.

Meet my friend Papa Smurf and some of the moments we’ve shared on the Trail so far. He is such a fun and animated character and it has been a joy to spend time with him. From catching snakes and other critters, to being adventurous and his one liners are sure to make you smile and laugh.

ANY & ALL donations will be utilized to help less fortunate hikers. Many are hiking with minimal food & substandard gear, infrequent opportunities to get out of inclement weather, do laundry, or acquire a bunk at a local hostile. Many survive by donated gear from hiker boxes to experience the magic of the Appalachian Trail.
