Philippe is continuing to clear the trash pile we found around the elderberry trees and near the tree with the mistletoe. To make the work a bit smoother, he's working on a rock sieve that will help remove the big rocks so we can use them beneath the driveway in the future. Unfortunately, we've encountered a streak of bad luck: more rain has come in, forcing Philippe to halt the work. Additionally, the clutch of the van has broken down. With all the maneuvering we've been doing, hauling heavy loads such as the caravan when we first moved here and the trailer back and forth from Belgium, and given its age, it was bound to happen. Fortunately, our bad luck is short-lived because our neighbor down the hill is a mechanic and he's willing to help us out. Also getting the yard in order before our family arrives, so we can kick back and relax when they're here.
