The Plano East Senior High School Bands perform at the 2016 Winter Concert. The Varsity Band, directed by Lee Redfearn III, performed Factory RIffs by Matt Conaway, Coventry Carol by Elliot Del Borgo (conducted by Randall Carpenter), and Groovee by Richard Saucedo. The Concert Band, directed by Lee Redfearn III, performed Incantations by Robert W. Smith, Down a Country Lane by Alfred Reed and Equilibrium by Michael Oare. The Symphonic Band, directed by John Brennan, performed Scossa Elettrika by Giacomo Puccini (arr Charles D. Yates), Sleep, My Child by Eric Whitacre and Bright Lights by Robert Sheldon. The Wind Ensemble, directed by Evelio Villarreal, performed Nobles of the Mystic Shadow by John Philip Sousa (arr Frederick Fennell), Rest by Frank Ticheli and Danzon No 2 by Arturo Marquez (arr Oliver Nickel).
