In this video you hear a demo of the KEF LS50 Meta's powered by a Yamaha AS801 integrated amplifier and Denon DCD-900 CD player. Audio is recorded on a Tascam DR-07X mounted on top of the camera at ear level. Subwoofer is ON and is supplementing for the lack of bass due to speaker placement. For cable nerds, speaker wires are 10 AWG OFC and interconnects are AudioQuest Golden Gate. Placing the LS50's closer to the wall will improve their bass response, however I personally still recommend adding even a small subwoofer to supplement, depending on the size of the room.
