The Nikon Df, a boutique camera brought out by Nikon a few years ago, is more like film cameras of old with the dials and feel of classic Nikon bodies like the F3.

While it doesn't have video, it does sport the D4 sensor and a lot of picture-taking power into a 16MP capture. The camera is small, but not too small... I have big hands.

And it is very cool that it takes the old Nikkor AF lenses which are inexpensive on EBay, and way smaller than modern lenses due to the fact that the lenses do not have motors in them. The autofocus is totally handled by the camera.

With four lenses, a strobe, extra cards, gloves and a cleaning kit, the bag is less than 1/4 the size of my Canon gear. This makes it the perfect camera for my motorcycle roadtrips due to space limitations with all the gear that must accompany one on a bike.

I have some motorcycle adventures coming up and we will be shooting with the Df. Move video to follow.
