[COOKIE BOX] 10 Spring Cookies from 1 Dough!

I’m sharing how to make a spring cookie box all from scratch just by using one dough. Just use this recipe and you can make both cookies and tarts of all shapes and sizes. :) I’m showing you my hacks to make a variety of different cookies all at once!

INGREDIENTS (Same recipe from the sweet tart dough I’ve been using!)
• All purpose flour: 350g (12.3 oz)
• Almond flour: 50g (1.8 oz)
• Powdered sugar: 150g (5.3 oz)
• Salt: a few pinch
• Unsalted butter: 180g (6.3 oz)
• Egg: 70g (2.5 oz)

BAKE AT 350F / 175 C for 10-20 mins, depending on the size until they are lightly golden brown.

*You can decide how to divide the dough and color as freely as you want to make all the different sizes and shapes but in case you want to know how I did today, here it is!:

1. Cut the dough(about 800g/28oz) in half: Save one for plain cookies (about 400g/14oz)
2. Cut the other half into a half again(200g:200g): Color one with pink for pink dough (about 200g/7oz)
3. Take about 1/3 or 1/4 of the pink dough and save for cherry blossom cookies. Add red coloring to the rest.
4. Cut the other half(200g) into half again(100g:100g): Add 1/8 teaspoon of matcha powder, green and yellow coloring in one of them (about 100g/3.5oz)
5. Add 1/2 teaspoon of cocoa powder and 5g of softened butter in the other half(100g) and mix: Save for chocolate dough
6. Cut the chocolate dough in half again (50g:50g) and add 10g of toasted pecans and one slice of freeze-dried strawberries in one of them for square cookies (about 50g/1.76oz)
7. and 1/2 teaspoon of milk in the other half, mix well, and use for piped cookies!

(OR just color as you go and have fun!)

As extra ingredients/decorations, I used:
• Pink sprinkles (for cherry blossoms and bunnies), a link below
• Sesami Seed (for strawberries)
• Strawberry jam (for flower sandwich cookies)
• Strawberry freeze dried powder (for chocolate cookies)
• Sliced pecans (for square chocolate cookies)
• White chocolate (for chocolate piping cookies)
