For this video, we went to go visit our friends Biota Aquariums to talk about possibly one of the most iconic and beautiful fish in our saltwater hobby, Mandarin Dragonet.

Striking in color and bold in it's patterns, term "psychedelic" is associated with this particular fish. Often I thought of this fish as rent-a-fish because of high mortality rate of this fish in our hobby and wished that they wouldn't be imported in along with Moorish Idol and few others.

However, my perception towards these beautiful fish started to change once captivebred counterparts started to appear. Incredibly hardy, disease resistant and voracious eater of everything was created with human intervention.
