Located at 3011 Independence Court in Casper, the temple occupies a 9.52-acre site and spans 9,950 square feet. The structure is built with a steel frame and features exterior cladding made of glass fiber-reinforced concrete. The temple serves over 15,000 members of the Church across nearly 50 congregations. Its design includes motifs inspired by Wyoming’s state flower, the Indian paintbrush, and sagebrush.

The #Casper #Wyoming #Temple was announced by Church President Russell M. Nelson in April 2021, with construction beginning in October 2021. President Nelson urged members to "keep your temple covenants and blessings foremost in your minds and hearts" when announcing the temple, along with 19 others.

This new temple is the Church’s 201st operating temple and will be the second in Wyoming, following the Star Valley Wyoming Temple dedicated in October 2016. Another temple in Cody, Wyoming, was announced in October 2021.

Wyoming holds historical significance for the Church, as Latter-day Saint pioneers traveled across the state during their westward migration to Utah in the mid-1800s.

The Casper Wyoming Temple stands as a symbol of faith and a place of spiritual refuge, inviting all to experience its serenity and significance in the lives of Latter-day Saints.
