Here's a fact. In three of his four NBA seasons Predrag Drobnjak had one of his six highest-scoring games against Shaq. Here's another... Despite not making the playoffs, the Sonics were 2-2 against the Lakers in the 2002-03 season. Drobnjak's perimeter game (accompanied by the artistry and shooting of Gary Payton/Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis) helped the Sonics become an ahead-of-its-time inconvenient opponent for the Lakers.

In other words, if I contribute to the weird tale of Drobnjak's Manjaks, I also felt like I had to put out some material on how good he actually was as a player. February 28, 2003.
