Best known for his use of physical comedy, as well as his alter ego Mr. Bean, Atkinson's performances do not heavily rely on language. In this sketch, Atkinson uses his ability to react to situations with bizarre, yet hilarious, facial expressions. This talent for entirely visual comedy is very evident in Invisible Drum Kit, which closes his show Rowan Atkinson Live! (Boston, 1992). The performance of this piece is dedicated to my brothers Nolan and Dustin, who always remind me how to laugh.
