year anniversary inspired by the house's archive. Light
and nuanced, the collection proposes a fresh exploration
of Akris' essential code: selbstverständlich.

It is the German expression that for Creative Director Albert Kriemler best encapsulates the Akris spirit; clothing that is natural and self-evident, embodying the effortless modernity that defines a woman's presence and
enhances her charisma. "s elbstverständlich does not rely on the visual impression that a garment makes. It is much more personal and emotive. I want the woman to be empowered without the clothing being loud. It is style over fashion in its timelessness," Albert Kriemler states.

Case in point: mix-and-match ensembles, nonchalant wide leg pants, and soft fabrics like cashmere and silk showcase the enduring appeal of clothes that will stand the test of time. Sleek minimalism is evoked via semi transparent and ultra light cotton and organza, imbuing high summer staples with ease. When it comes to forever pieces, cool wool is having a moment this season, lending its soft lightness to tailored suits.

Prints are bold for daytime, introducing head-to-toe ensembles tied together via hypnotic tweed check prints. The allover Emma motif is a playful, witty homage to a 1970s design by Max Kriemler and renamed after Albert's dog. While the colorful Composed Letters print subtly reveals Akris at a second glance.
