Seacoast Christian School is a private institution where many students attend on scholarships, making their sports program heavily reliant on volunteers and donations for uniforms and equipment. One of our employees, who volunteered as a coach, nominated the school for the Charity of the Month. I collaborated with the employee and the school to coordinate logistics. I crafted the video release form needed from the parents for their children to appear in the video and ensured that each child brought a signed form on the day of filming. On the day of the shoot, I scouted the best locations to film, set up all camera and audio equipment, and monitored the gear while conducting interviews and filming. Back in the office, I edited the footage, combining interviews, B-roll, music, and animations of the logo and lower thirds to create a compelling visual. The final video successfully encouraged fellow employees to donate by using their cafeteria purchases to raise funds for the students.
