I enjoyed my first real cold camping in December at Burr Oak State Park and found a great secluded site surrounded by water. The following day I found a good disperse campsite in a secluded area as I overlanded and explored the area. Had a great time and good food and experienced snow too! Hope this motivates you to get out and overland and camp.
