Following on from my initial review of this (gifted) belt and bobbin sander from Scheppach, in this video I fix the belt backing plate making if flat. This being made flat, also made it worthwhile adding a mitre gauge to the table top.
The results of this combination made for some surprisingly accurate results.
And yes, although I'm talking about the Scheppach machine here, the same issue (if it exists) can be fixed for the same machines - as in it's exactly the same! - from other brands including Triton, Clarke, DK Rutlands, Lumberjack, WEN, Holzstar, Bauer (Harbor Frieght), Grizzly, Sealey, Draper and - I think - Aldi/Lidl too.
