The Royal National Park, established in 1879, is the second oldest national park in the world (after Yellowstone) and the first to ever use the term "national park'.
In fact it was initially just called National Park, and got it's actual name only in 1955 when Queen Elizabeth II passed by.

Located just 1 hour south from Sydney, it features beautiful sandstone cliffs and a unique mix of vegetation including rainforests, heathlands and wet eucalypt forests.

This video was produced for IUCN World Parks Congress Sydney 2014 (worldparkscongress.org/).

This 4K version also shows some previously unpublished sequences!
