Today is the final day of our memorable trip to the North East. We start our day with an amazing breakfast at the Chennai Banana Leaf restaurant. We then walked along the MG Road and reached the Umananda ferry point where we got a great view of the Brahmaputra river. Although we wanted to have a ride on the ferry, due to time constraints we could be do so.
We then went to the bike rental agency and returned our Activa. After having lunch, we proceeded towards an important destination for us i.e., Kamakhya Devi Temple. There was too much rush inside and wait times ran into hours but we still managed to get darshan from outside the main sanctum.
That marked the end of our memorable 11 days in North East, starting from Guwahati to Tawang in Arunachal and to Meghalaya, we will cherish this forever.
