In mid-February, with a weather forecast showing mild weather, we escaped the winter blues and spent a glorious weekend in Beaufort, NC.

Join us as we explore historic Beaufort, with its historic homes dated back to the 1700s, picturesque waterfront with sailing and fishing vessels, and a trip to Carrot Island to see the wild horses!

We ate breakfast at the Marmalade Cafe & Bakery and lunch at the Black Sheep restaurant for some dog-friendly outdoor dining along the waterfront.

While here we camped with our RV at Beaufort Waterway RV Park, which is located about 6 miles from Beaufort.
