Archie (Carroll O'Connor) gets scolded by the doctor for his lack of understanding of Edith's (Jean Stapleton) poor health.

From Season 9, Episode 25 'Too Good Edith': In the series last episode before the name change, Archie has given Edith the task of cooking all the food for his big Saint Patrick's Day bash at Archie's Place. In the process, Edith has been keeping a secret from Archie out of fear that it will ruin his big celebration. Edith has developed phlebitis and is barely able to stand or walk.
